Ashlee Brown

Ashlee Brown is a Howard University alumna, artist, and multidisciplinary designer whose work explores identity, emotion, culture, and human connection through visual storytelling. Working across painting, illustration, photography, and design, she creates pieces that invite reflection and encourage viewers to engage more deeply with themselves and the world around them. Her practice is rooted in the belief that art can communicate what words often cannot. Through portraiture, symbolism, and narrative-driven imagery, she examines the experiences, memories, and relationships that shape individuals and communities. Much of her work centers on creating space for authenticity, presence, and deeper conversation.
